With the development of the Internet, it has become possible to connect with a wide variety of people. The difficulty of living due to stereotypes of “masculinity” and “femininity” held by people who would never have been connected before has been exposed. We believe that resolving these issues is necessary to create a better future. This work considers the avatars in video games that influenced me in my childhood as “costumes” and expresses the ambiguity of gender found in them by positioning them outside the flow of mass production and mass consumption, using waste materials that have lost their functions and eco-friendly stretchable materials.
