When I saw so much waste piled up in school rubbish stockyards and shelves full of clothes in fast-fashion shops, I suddenly thought about the meaning of making new work from new materials.
This work is mainly made from scraps and old clothes that have been turned back into fiber and recycled plastic bottles.
The fabrics that were no longer needed by someone else, in fiber form, became an attractive material for me to work with flexibly.
Through this process of production and the intricate repetition of the same pattern in the design, I have tried to express that materials can be reused and eventually circulate.
