■What is FASHION FRONTIER PROGRAM?
This program aims to discover and support fashion designers who can bring to life clothing designs that combine social responsibility and creativity. It is composed of three elements—“Award,” “Education,” and “Incubation.” Finalists are provided with opportunities to learn from experts and mentors across diverse fields, as well as technical support and opportunities to present their work.
Following the primary selection, 16 semi-finalists will be selected and invited to participate in the education program starting in August. This program includes lectures by specialists, workshops offering exposure to a variety of materials and techniques, and advice on developing their project concepts.
After the secondary selection, 8 finalists will be selected. They will receive financial support for production, technical guidance, and the opportunity to bring their creations to life. In the final selection held in December, three winners will be chosen.
All programs will be conducted at MoN Takanawa: The Museum of Narratives. The award ceremony in December will be open to the public, where the works of both finalists and winners will be exhibited.
