FASHION FRONTIER PROGRAM 2023 Prizewinners interview

We interviewed the three winners in 2023, so please take a look.

Grand prize：Yu Kawajiri

She spoke not only about her thoughts and what she did during the production process, but also about how she expresses emotions in her final works through people (models), such as posing, makeup, and eye contact.

Runner-up：Hiroto Ikebe

He spoke about the new insights he gained when working with artisans and factory workers through the program, and why he believes fieldwork is so important, including his own experiences and the learnings he gained.

Runner-up：Julia Moser

She spoke about how she thinks about the balance between new technology (bacterial dyeing) and when people wear it.
Julia also spoke about the scope and magnitude of the impact that design can have, and the responsibility of designing through the questions that she constantly asks herself.
